Years of Experience
In 2026, I will have completed 41 years as a coach. Including my years as a
player, I have spent more than fifty years experiencing competitive sport at
different levels and in different roles.
But this journey has never been just about titles.
Working with the Brazilian Women's National Team during two Olympic gold medal campaigns provided a unique opportunity to experience what it truly means to compete at the highest level.
High performance is built on consistency. Discipline in training, preparation, and mindset creates athletes who perform when it matters most.
Great teams are built by athletes who lead through example. Leadership on the court strengthens the entire system.
Elite performance is not built overnight. Sustainable progress requires structure, patience, and a clear development pathway.
Excellence is not a moment — it is a daily standard. A mindset that pushes beyond limits and refuses mediocrity.

Understanding performance begins with identifying technical and tactical
patterns within the game.
High-level volleyball requires athletes to develop strong fundamentals,
decision-making ability, and consistency under pressure.
Elite athletes improve through consistent training environments and
structured progression.
Performance development requires discipline, repetition, and a commitment
to long-term growth.
Athletes pursuing higher levels of competition must understand the
standards required to compete in elite environments.
Preparing for these environments involves more than physical ability — it
requires leadership, mental resilience, and strategic understanding of the
game.
